Bio

I'm an IT professional with years of experience as a systems administrator and enterprise server architect, with MCSE and MCDBA certificates, amongst others. I learned prompting just after ChatGPT 3.5 came out and was hired as a prompt engineer a month later. A proud Gen-X Illinois farmboy, I helped co-found Collaborative Dynamics in 2023 and we've been going strong ever since.

Personas

One of the fields I am best known for has been my work in advanced AI persona craft. Uniquely engaging an "human-like", these prompts are primarily designed for utility as an advanced prompting modality designed to bias the model towards specific behaviors and metacognitive approaches.A good persona makes the model much better at its tasks in that domain. A good set of instructions tell it what tasks to perform.A good prompt engineer must be able to do both.
